What do you do to be 'Thrifty'?
So what do you do to save money?
It may not seem like much to you but to someone that hasn't thought of it you could help them save money.
So post what you do here!

Re: What do you do to be 'Thrifty'?
The main thing I do is use coupons. I love my coupons. Of course if the store brand is cheaper (and if it's something I don't mind in the store brand), I generally don't worry about using a coupon.
I tend to scrimp just a little on washing powder and dish washing powder, not putting quite as much as is suggested in my machine. I'm not sure I really want to confess that here or not. :Suspicious:

I do that with my laundry detergent. Honestly, using Tide I've done it both ways and can't tell a difference using a little less.
I shop end of season clearance sales to buy the kids clothes for the next year. I just buy 1-2 sizes bigger, especially if it's 100% cotton and might shrink anyways.
I shop yard sales & thrift stores for their clothes (and mine) too.
I try to use coupons but seriously I buy so much store brand stuff that there isn't much I can use a coupon on. And it seems I can never find the coupons for the products I would buy anyways.
