Mayo Cake - Depression era cake

Use a 9x13 pan as its so light it will crumble if you try to do 2 layers.

350 degrees heat, 30 mins, 9x13 pan
2 cups flour
1 cup sugar
1/2 cup cocoa
1 1/2 tsp baking powder
1 1/2 tsp baking soda
1 cup plus 2 tablespoons ice water, (must use)
2 tsp vanilla
1 cup mayo ( must use regular mayo do not use low fat or fat free) this is what replaces the eggs and fat.

Mix by hand wooden spoon works well in a large bowl. Sift all dry togather. Add ice water and vanilla. Stir in mayo until mixed (do not beat with a mixer).

Pour into a greased and floured pan smack air out and put in oven. When cool ice or dust with powdered sugar.
