BBQ Ribs even a Vegetarian Can Make.....
My family is amazed that I am able to cook meat so well when I don't eat it at all. All of them love these ribs and they're really easy to make. Always line your pan with aluminum foil however, because this is messy!
Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method
-------- ------------ --------------------------------
3 pounds boneless pork ribs
1 cup packed light brown sugar
1 teaspoon celery seed
1 teaspoon salt
***SAUCE***
1 cup tomato catsup
1/3 cup red wine vinegar
2 tablespoons minced onion
1 tablespoon worcestershire sauce
1/4 teaspoon coarse ground black pepper
1/8 teaspoon cayenne pepper
Place ribs in aluminum foil-lined large baking pan. In small bowl, combine
brown sugar, celery seed and salt; press firmly onto both sides of ribs. Bake,
uncovered, at 325øF for 1 hour. Meanwhile, in small saucepan, combine sauce
ingredients; bring to a boil. Reduce heat; simmer 10 minutes, stirring
occasionally. Set aside. Remove ribs from oven; pour off drippings. Spoon
sauce over ribs, spreading to coat evenly. Continue baking 20 to 25 minutes or
until ribs are tender.
